… I’ve never really known anyone who has died (touch wood). All the people I have known have not been close to me. I heard about the passing of an acquaintance today, and just realizing I spoke to him and joked with him and smiled with him, made me feel extremely down.

I didn’t know you that well, Sting, but what I did know was that you were an amazing person! And I never did get you that Monster; my bad…
Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, know that people all around are celebrating your life that you shared so briefly with us.

Thank you for all your help :) You will always be remembered!

R.I.P., Sting.

…for far too long! I forgot how much I love this place and it’s people!

Work has been so tough lately and I’m really nearly on the verge of  quitting or something! But, at least I have my little monster man to come home to everyday! He just makes it all worthwhile!

(Especially now that he’s talking proper sentences! And the words he comes up with? So funny!!)

Seth’ll be two in less than 2 months time! Cannot believe it! When do these little creatures slow down?!

…to become addicted to blogs? I mean, it’s is okay to browse through blogs for an hour a day or so, but I’ve been so caught up with that (previously mentioned. TWICE) blog, that I’m starting to worry myself… I mean, like 5 hours a day! Really?!

There is so much more to life than that, right? I need help, I’m sure I do!

But, when I get home, it’s all about my Sethster :) He makes all my bad days at work so much better! His smile and his laugh and his own addiction to the Harry Potter movies among other things, of course, just make me so happy and proud!

My boy is growing up so fast! Eep!

perfect-little-prince-x:

May you rest in peace, beautiful angel.

My love and thoughts are with Rebecca, Jake and Bella.

1. We loved the elephants! Or should I say: Elephant. The other one was at the far end of the enclosure, waiting for his lunch :)

2. Seth entranced by the zebras :) Look, mommy, a stripy horse! Sooo cool!

3. Well, it seems Seth is at the very bottom of the food chain… Oh dear…

4. This photo explains the previous one better :) Ah, Dad, right at the top :)

5. Loving the Cheetahs! He even “meowed” at them, haha!

6. The biggest “meow” he’s ever seen! He wanted to climb in there with it!!!

7. Sitting like a big boy on in a statue near the bear enclosure! I love that face! Too precious!

8. And, finally, the long-awaited “teddy” bear :)

Daddy and Seth with Max, the Gorilla! Can you believe that Max was really that size?! Thought not ;)

P.S. Sorry that the photo’s on it’s side, I can’t be bothered to rotate all of them…

Little baby monkey couldn’t get enough of Seth. He just kept following us around :) But as you can see, mommy monkey was right there (probably telling him to slow down and be careful. Mothers, huh, we’re all the same)!

Daddy and Seth at the JHB Zoo, looking at all Daddy’s family members :) Kidding, Daddy, we still love you!
